Project 4:16 is CHBC’s vehicle for in-house Biblical and theological training. The courses offered under the Project 4:16 umbrella are designed to develop leaders who embrace the authority and power of God’s word to both transform their lives and inform their doctrine. The cohort model provides students the opportunity to read extensively, present their own papers and projects, respond to the work of others, and saturate themselves in the Scriptures.
From the Bethlehem College & Seminary curriculum: The course Mining God’s Word is an introduction to the methodology of inductive study of the Bible. Inductive study consists of careful observation of the text leading to sound interpretation and appropriate application. Students will learn study strategies, principles of interpretation, and principles of application throughout the course and apply them to the book of Philippians. Who: Women and girls of helpful age Where: CHBC Fellowship Hall 4 p.m. Make freezer meals, assemble craft kits, and wrap pajamas and rugs to be given to HOH families. 5 p.m. Dinner Please RSVP to Lynn Bauer by Dec. 4th if you will be eating. 6 - 8:30 p.m. Carpooling to Festival of Lights for HOH and/or wrapping personal Christmas presents. Come to as much or as little of the evening as you can.
