Join us for a work day at River Hills School (2700 Grand Blvd. in Cedar Falls). This would be a great family day project, and will be a great help to the school. Projects will include raking leaves, spreading mulch, trimming bushes and cutting down a few trees. We will provide pizza and drinks for everyone who comes to work. Bring gloves and tools. Hope to see you at 6 p.m.!
“Standing Behind Hope” is an opportunity for our church family to provide backline support for our brothers and sisters at Hope City Church. Their church will "SERVE the CITY" of Waterloo, and we will have the privilege of serving them. The roles we'll have include: facilitating lunch, delivering water, joining in on a work project, and covering the event in prayer. At any age or stage, you can join in. Sign up in the foyer or contact the church office.
Turkey, mashed potatoes, and gravy will be provided. Bring a side dish and dessert to share. Please also consider sharing a brief testimony glorifying God for his work in your life over the past year. If you are available to help set up, serve food, or clean up, please sign up at church on Sunday, Nov. 11, or contact the church office.
Everyone is invited to come together to share a simple meal, fellowship and pray. As we meet as one body, we will orient ourselves and each other toward CHBC’s mission of desiring to reflect the glory of God in all things and toward Christ.

Women of all ages: Join us in the fellowship hall as we make blankets for Alternatives Pregnancy Center. No sewing experience necessary. Keep in mind the sewing machines, sharp items, and hot irons when determining if this event is appropriate for your little girls.
The Guhls' Acts group invites you to an evening of chili and caroling Friday, Dec. 13. Meet in the fellowship hall for dinner, which will be served promptly at 6 p.m., followed by caroling. We will return to the church for dessert after caroling. RSVP to Jessica or contact the church office.
