Everyone is invited to come together to share a simple meal, fellowship and pray. As we meet as one body, we will orient ourselves and each other toward CHBC’s mission of desiring to reflect the glory of God in all things and toward Christ. Our AWANA Club is a Bible-centered children’s ministry whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym “AWANA” comes from the first letters of “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed,” as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Children ages preschool through sixth grade are welcome to our weekly activities which include Bible lessons, small groups, prayer, singing, scripture memory, games and snacks.

College women and CHBC ladies: You are invited to a women's brunch to welcome college students and get to know each other better. The brunch is 10:30 a.m. - noon on Saturday, September 8, at the home of Julia Dawkins. We will share a testimony or two, and then enjoy some fellowship and food.
