I’ve been personally helped in the parenting and discipleship of my 3 boys by a number of podcasts. Here are a few that have been the most helpful!
Risen Motherhood
I like this podcast because the episodes are short but packed with biblical wisdom. They are great at taking topics and focusing on what scripture has to say about them. I am always encouraged to rely on the Lord for strength when I listen.
(It’s also a bonus that they’re from Iowa. =] )
Don’t Mom Alone
This podcast offers a lot of practical help for parenting. She brings in guests with all sorts of specialties and points of view, but always from a Christian perspective. I have been especially helped by some of the psychologists that have given me a better understanding of what’s going on in the minds of my kids.
Dad Tired
As a mom, I really enjoy this podcast because I get to hear from a dad’s perspective. His vulnerability gives me insight into the hearts of my husband and my boys.
Intentional Family
This podcast has opened my eyes to how strange our culture is in terms of parenting, particularly in how we raise boys. It has made me think about how I can be more intentional in helping my boys grow to be strong men.
The Family Discipleship Podcast
I love the discussions on this podcast that give a glimpse into how different families approach discipleship. It reminds me to trust God with my kids and that there’s more than one way to parent.
