Installation Service

We would like to invite you to the installation service of Pastor Jeff McCourt. We are thrilled to have Pastor Jeff and his wife Peggy become a part of the CHBC family.

Here is what will take place during the service:

1. Pastor Dave Rodquist, former Sr. Executive Pastor at New Hope Church will give the pastoral challenge to Pastor Jeff. During this part of the service we will get to listen in as Pastor Dave will speak to Pastor Jeff and remind him of the importance and serious responsibility of being our teaching pastor. No doubt he will call for Jeff to be a faithful minister of the Gospel and seek to apply every message to his own life.
2. Pastor Dann Green will bring the challenge to the church. All of us will be encouraged and challenged from the Word to love and care for our new teaching pastor. We will also be reminded that the way in which we can encourage the minister of the Word is to receive that Word with joy and live it out daily to the glory of God.
3. Mike Froehle – Covenant Commitments. After hearing the challenges to our Teaching Pastor and to our church family, Mike Froehle will lead us through a series of covenant commitments for both Pastor Jeff and our church. This will be followed by the laying of hands on Pastor Jeff by the elders and leaders of CHBC and by some members of New Hope Church. Ephesians 4 tells us the Ascended Christ gives gifted men as gifts to His church. Therefore we will receive Pastor Jeff as a gift from God given to equip the saints for the work of ministry for the building up the body of Christ.
4. Response by Pastor Jeff McCourt. We will conclude by giving Pastor Jeff the opportunity to share his heart with us.

After the service, you are invited to the fellowship hall for a reception with Pastor Jeff and Peggy. Please feel free to invite your friends and neighbors to meet our new Pastor and his wife.
