Please also consider sharing a brief testimony glorifying God for his work in your life over the past year. Women of all ages: Join us in the fellowship hall as we make blankets for Alternatives Pregnancy Center. No sewing experience necessary. Keep in mind the sewing machines, sharp items, and hot irons when determining if this event is appropriate for your little girls.
Moms of littles from birth to preschool are invited to join us during the school year. We meet in the nursery for a time of fellowship and encouragement. We would love to see you there!
Our AWANA Club is a Bible-centered children’s ministry whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym “AWANA” comes from the first letters of “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed,” as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Children ages preschool through sixth grade are welcome to our weekly activities which include Bible lessons, small groups, prayer, singing, scripture memory, games and snacks.
The Cedar Saints will go through the study, "Jonah: You Can't Outrun Grace" by Paul Tripp. The study will include eight video lessons followed by group discussion, and includes a study guide. Everyone is welcome to attend.
This seven-week DVD study by Pricilla Shirer is more than just a description of the Armor of God -- It is a chance to really understand the armor that God gives us and to learn to "be strong in the Lord and the strength of His might" (Eph. 6:10). We will meet in the Cedar Saints room.
Bring gently used items to the church parking lot to donate to Stuff Etc. CHBC will receive 50 percent of the selling price, and Abundance Giving will donate proceeds to missions. If you would like to volunteer to help sort donations for the entire time or just an hour or two, please contact Kathy Matthias.
At CHBC, we rejoice over the children entrusted to us and greatly value the role parents, as well as the entire church body, play in the process of raising children to delight in the supremacy of Jesus Christ. At the beginning of the service, we will celebrate the new babies in our church family by bringing them forward.
