Everything a Child Should Know about God
Kenneth N. Taylor

What is it?

This is a colorful book that helps teach small children basic theology about God. It is divided into ten parts, and each page has a truth about God, a brief explanation, and a review question. The opposite page has a beautiful picture to help the child remember and connect with the information.

Who’s it for?

This book is great for small children up to elementary age children who can read independently. It is meant for an adult to read it with a child. It can also be for a slightly older child who may not be a confident reader yet to use for beginning devotions.

How’d it go?

“Our family would read this book together on the way to school in the morning. We would take turns letting a different child read it each day. The reader would ask the question and take turns answering. I was there driving so I could answer any additional questions. When our kids were a little older I would have them read it to their little brother so they were learning and reinforcing their theology while teaching their younger sibling.” – Darcy VanNyhuis
