The Ology
Marty Machowski

What is it?

“The Ology” is an expansive book that provides an organized systematic theology at a level accessible by children. Short, well written chapters accompanied by illustrations and scripture references help kids understand big concepts about God and their relationship with him.

Who’s it for?

This book is designed in a way that makes it useful for almost all school-age children from kindergarten to sixth or seventh grade, though it would not be a wasted study for teens and adults. Whether reading it through for family devotions with little kids or giving it to an older child for their personal study, the versatility of this book is one of its many strengths. The book includes a parent guide for how to use it with different ages.

How’d it go?

“This book will continue to be a key resource for our kids and family. It teaches doctrine and systematic theology in a concise and step by step way. It could even be used for building a Sunday school curriculum. The topics are simplified perfectly for kids, and it has great organization with good illustrations.” -Andrew Tink

“A great collection of theology written simply for even young kids to understand.  Throughout the year we had gone through the book with our kids, and one morning we did a review of the first handful of chapters with their grandparents. We were amazed at how much knowledge the kids had retained! We listened with great joy as our kids filled in the blanks of these simple yet critical truths. This book is a must-have for families with young (or older) children.” – Tyson Troyer
